What event would you add to the state program?

A state beach trip with Massachusetts DeMolay and Rainbow

How can you improve Massachusetts DeMolay

I can improve Massachusetts DeMolay by utilizing my experiences as a member of both John Eliot Chapter and the State Suite. I have the skills and potential to decide what's best for the jurisdiction, and I can improve this organization by utilizing the membership to their full potential. The most important part of DeMolay in Massachusetts is the members, and the members are a valuable source of information in regards to what works and doesn't work, and what we want to see in our state events. By utilizing this information more in the next year, I feel like I can improve the quality of this jurisdiction as a whole. I've studied various different leadership styles, and have helped plan a variety of events, so I have past experiences I can pass on to other state officers and other members of the jurisdiction to satisfy the need to help everyone in any way that I can. I want what's best for Massachusetts DeMolay, so I'll do everything I can to accomplish this goal.

What makes you the right candidate for the job?

What makes me right for the job is my ability to work as a team. Having been a State Officer for three years now has taught me how to work with others, and how to lead a team to success. I've helped plan events, and I've lead event planning myself, and I feel like these past three years have aptly prepared me take on this next office. I've had success in the past, and I've had failures in the past. Both have taught me more than I could have ever hoped for, and the knowledge I've learned will lead me in the right direction if elected to this position.

What I the most important virtue in the Crown of Youth? Why?

I think that the first virtue, Filial Love, is probably the most important in the Crown of Youth. My parents have given me the world, and they have done so much for me out of the goodness of their hearts. I've had the most perfect childhood, and that's all thanks to two of the most important people of my life. Who I am and where I am today is all thanks to my parents and who they raised me to be. I couldn't be more grateful for the two most important people in my life, and I don't know how I could ever repay them for the life they've given me. Every single virtue in the Crown of Youth is important, but Filial Love hits close to home and is something that I feel I value just a little bit more than the rest.

What is your favorite office in DeMolay?

Senior Deacon

If you could meet one famous person who would it be? Why?

Beyoncé, because she's essentially queen of the world and honestly, who wouldn't want to meet her?

What is your spirit animal?

A Red Panda. Not very strong, but super adorable. I feel that on a spiritual level.

What is your favorite band?

I have an unhealthy obsession with Taylor Swift.

Fun fact about yourself

Cereal is my life. I'd eat cereal for every meal if it were socially acceptable. Just imagine the biggest bowl in your house, and know that I probably eat twice the amount of that for breakfast.
