This year we are instituting a new Program in Massachusetts known as the State Ritualist Team. The program will take effect at the close of the Sunday session of Conclave 2015, and with the beginning of this new program the State Representative program will no longer be on the books. The purpose of this program is to provide Massachusetts DeMolay with a set team for Double Degrees and to give the members a chance to participate in those degrees. In addition, members of the team may be asked to assist in Installations of Officers and may occasionally take the place of State Officers in performing ritual.
There are several qualifications required to be a part of the team. An interested DeMolay must have been a member for at least one year, and be at least 14 years of age when applying for the team. Hopeful DeMolays must submit a packet including a letter of intent, along with a statement of permission from the candidate’s chapter and parents. Those that submit an application will perform an exemplification of ritual based on their answers to the questions in the application packet. All paper work for the team can be obtained from Dad Brian Rushlow, and must be filled out by the date stated in the paperwork.
