DeMolays for DeMocracy

John Elliot Chapter is calling on all Massachusetts DeMolay chapters! Massachusetts needs our help to run a smooth election this November. DeMolays for DeMocracy is a campaign to get DeMolays from all over the state and country to volunteer as poll workers for elections. In Massachusetts, you need to be at least 16 years old to be an assistant poll worker and 18 years old to become an official poll worker. This year especially, more assistants are needed to help control the flow of voting traffic during the pandemic.

If your chapter wants to be a part of DeMolays for DeMocracy, please email Nolan Palmer from John Elliot Chapter.

We will send out resources to help DeMolays in your chapter become poll workers in time for the November 3rd election.

As DeMolays, one of our principal virtues is Patriotism. The most patriotic thing that we can do is help our Democracy thrive, even during a national crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Register to vote:
DeMolays who are over 18, we encourage you to vote in this year’s upcoming election. No matter who you vote for, voting is one of the most patriotic acts that you can do as a Demolay, and Patriotism is one of the founding principles of a Demolay.
In Massachusetts, you have to register to vote by Saturday, October 24th, 2020. You can register to vote by going to https://vote.gov/register/ma/
